The 27th LA Shorts International Film Festival is set to showcase some of the best short films worldwide. Among the films to be premiered is “Unkind Cut,” a comedy short written and directed by Marc Pitre. Anchored by their ensemble cast, including Phillip Jeanmarie, Lindsey Smith-Sands, Rajiv Shah, Lauren Campadelli, and Skinner Myers, the film is produced by Tiffany Ike, Jenna Park, and Mark Pitre. The score is by Lee Sanders, cinematography by Peter Soto, and editing by Sharon A. Mooney. “Unkind Cut” explores the comedic challenges a middle-aged father faces as he navigates the complexities of his masculinity during an unexpected vasectomy consultation. The film is anticipated to engage and amuse audiences with its humorous and heartfelt plot.
